Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 1 head green cabbage cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a large dutch oven.
  • Add diced yellow onion and cook until translucent
  • Add sliced cabbage and cook over medium low heat until reduced in volume by 3/4, about 20-30 minutes, stirring often to prevent burning.
  • Add 1 tablespoon paprika and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Serve with fried potatoes and bratwurst.
