- 1 lb Spaghetti or any thin noodle of your choice
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds, lightly toasted
Dressing Ingredients
- ΒΌ cup Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 3 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1-2 tsp hot chili oil
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
Cook noodles according to package directions.
While noodles are cooking, chop green onions.
Place sesame seeds in a dry skillet and toast them over medium heat, stirring frequently to prevent them from burning, about 2 minutes, until they are a light golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
Prepare dressing:
Place soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, hot chili oil, and vegetable oil in a glass jar.
Tighten lid and shake jar well to combine all the dressing ingredients.
When noodles are cooked al dente, drain well, and place them in a large bowl.
Add dressing to the cooked noodles and stir to coat all the noodles with the dressing.
Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes before serving to allow the noodles to soak up the dressing.
Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds to serve.
Noodles can be served either hot or cold.
