BBQ Country Style Spareribs

You can have tender, flavorful spareribs without ever firing up the barbecue or a smoker. This easy to do method produces the most tender, moist spareribs with a minimum of effort!

Ingredients
2
lbs
country style pork spareribs
2
tbsp
Kosher salt
1
tbsp
garlic powder
1
tsp
pepper
water

barbecue sauce
Instructions
Place spareribs in a large pot and cover them with water.
Stir in salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Cover pot with a lid and bring water to a boil.
Once water comes to a boil, simmer spareribs for 45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350℉.
Remove ribs from the pot of water using tongs and transfer them to an oven safe baking dish.
Pour BBQ sauce over the ribs, turning them with the tongs to coat them with the BBQ sauce.
Cover dish with foil and bake spareribs for 1 to 1½ hours until heated through and they reach a temperature of 160°F.
Coat with additional sauce if desired.
Serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
Recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to feed a crowd.
