Cinnamon Cheesecake Bars

A creamy, cinnamony, luscious easy to make cheesecake dessert. All the things that make cheesecake a favorite dessert but without all the work.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 packages Crescent roll dough
  • 2 8 oz. pkgs cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ stick butter, melted
  • tsp cinnamon
  • cup sugar

Instructions
 

Make cinnamon sugar topping:

  • In a small bowl, combine 1½ teaspoons cinnamon and ⅓ cup sugar.
  • Set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.

Make cheesecake:

  • Roll out one package of crescent roll dough in the bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9 inch oven safe pan and set aside.
  • Using a stand mixer, beat together the two packages of softened cream cheese, one cup of sugar and vanilla, until smooth and fluffy.
  • Spread out cream cheese mixture evenly over crescent roll dough in the baking pan.
  • Roll out second package of crescent roll dough on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  • Spread melted butter evenly over the crescent roll dough.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon/sugar evenly over melted butter.
  • Bake in 350° preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until light golden brown.
  • Cool completely before cutting.
  • Serve at room temperature or chilled. Store in the refrigerator.
