Cracked Asparagus

Eating your veggies never tasted so good! Adding this delicious trifecta of flavors will make eating your veggies the best part of the meal.

Equipment

  • oven safe baking dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus spears
  • 1 tbsp Ranch seasoning
  • cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350℉.
  • Cook bacon until crisp, drain on paper towels and roughly chop or crumble. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine Ranch seasoning with mayo. Set aside.
  • Trim off the tough woody ends from asparagus spears and discard.
  • Place trimmed asparagus spears on an oven safe baking dish in an even layer.
  • Top asparagus with the Ranch seasoned mayo, spreading it out over the stalks.
  • Top with a layer of cheddar cheese.
  • Top with bacon bits and any remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is melted, and bubbly hot.
