Grease a 13 x 9 inch oven safe casserole dish. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine creamed corn, drained corn, Jiffy corn bread mix, baking powder, eggs, melted butter, sour cream and 1½ cups of the grated cheddar cheese.
Stir together until well combined.
Transfer the mixture to prepared casserole dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
Bake for 50-60 minutes until heated through and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Bake until edges are lightly browned and crisp.
Notes
Recipe can be cut in half if serving fewer people.
