Easy Creamed Corn

- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 10 oz package frozen corn kernels
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ tsp salt, or to taste
- ¼ tsp pepper, or to taste
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ cup milk
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add flour and whisk together.
Cook to remove raw flour taste, about 2 minutes, whisking constantly.
Add corn, heavy cream, sugar, and salt and pepper. Stir together until heated through.
Add milk and cook until mixture thickens and everything is heated through.
Remove from heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
