Green Chile Cheese Soufflé

An easy to make soufflé that's delicious for breakfast or brunch. This delectable dish feeds a crowd with a minimum of effort.

- 1 stick butter
- 1 lb cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 7 oz can of fire roasted diced green chiles
Preheat oven to 350℉.
Cut butter into slices and place them in the bottom of a 13x9 inch casserole dish.
Place in the oven as it preheats until butter is melted.
In a large mixing bowl combine, Bisquick, milk, and eggs.
Stir until lumps are mostly gone.
Add can of diced green chiles to the batter. Stir to combine.
Remove casserole dish from the oven once the butter is melted.
Place half the cheddar cheese in the casserole dish on top of the melted butter.
Pour egg batter over the cheese in the casserole dish.
Top with an even layer of cheese using remaining half of cheddar cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes until center is cooked through and puffed and the edges are light golden brown.
Serve hot.
