Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ onion, diced
  • ½ green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 11½ oz can tomato juice
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 8 oz water
  • 8 oz uncooked macaroni pasta
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet cook ground beef, onion and bell pepper over medium heat until meat is cooked through and onions and peppers are soft.
  • Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Drain off excess fat.
  • Add tomato juice, tomato sauce, water, macaroni noodles, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Stir to combine and bring mixture to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until macaroni noodles are tender. Stir occasionally.
  • Turn off heat. Top with cheddar cheese. Cover and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted.
