Mediterranean Meatball Gyros

Ground Beef, fresh parsley and cumin are formed into meatballs and served on our favorite flatbreads. Top with chopped veggies and tzatziki sauce for a delightful Mediterranean meal.

- 1 lb ground beef
- ¼ cup bread crumbs
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp water
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 4 flatbreads, such as Pita or Naan
Toppings:
- chopped tomato
- arugula
- red onion, sliced
- Tzatziki sauce
- Hummus, optional
- Feta cheese, crumbled
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Place ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, parsley, minced garlic, water, cumin, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
Use your hands to combine all the ingredients together.
Shape meat mixture into 16 meatballs.
Place meatballs on a broiler pan.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Serve meatballs on flatbread with Tzatziki sauce, chopped tomatoes, arugula, crumbled Feta cheese, and sliced red onion.
