Nestle' Toll House Oatmeal Scotchies

Ingredients
  

  • cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
  • 11 oz Nestle Toll House Butterscotch Morsels 

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375° F.
  • In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Set aside.
  • In the mixing bowl of a stand mixer beat sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract and butter together until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time.
  • Reduce speed and add flour mixture. Mix until well combined.
  • Reduce speed to low and add oats.
  • Add butterscotch chips.
  • Using a cookie scoop, place tablespoons of dough onto a cookie sheet lined with a silpat liner or parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and allow cookies to cool for 10 minutes in the pan.
  • Using a spatula, transfer cookies from pan onto a cooling rack and allow cookies to cool completely.
