aluminum foil
baking sheet
- 1 rack baby back pork ribs
- 2-3 tbsp BBQ seasoning
- ¾ cup BBQ sauce
Preheat oven to 325℉.
Rinse ribs under cold running water and pat them dry. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the rack of ribs. Use a paper towel to grab one end and gently pull it off. Discard membrane.
Season all sides of the ribs liberally with BBQ seasoning of your choice.
Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil.
Place wrapped rack of ribs (meaty side up) on a baking sheet.
Bake ribs in the preheated oven for 2-3 hours. Check ribs after 2 hours. Bake until ribs are fork tender and the bones easily pull away from the meat.
Remove foil and baste all sides of the ribs liberally with your favorite BBQ sauce.
Return ribs (meat side up) to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
Turn oven temperature to "broil" and cook ribs until the BBQ sauce is bubbly and thickens.
Remove from the oven and allow ribs to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve with a large stack of napkins.
