Equipment

  • aluminum foil
  • baking sheet

Ingredients

  • 1 rack baby back pork ribs
  • 2-3 tbsp BBQ seasoning
  • ¾ cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325℉.
  • Rinse ribs under cold running water and pat them dry. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the rack of ribs. Use a paper towel to grab one end and gently pull it off. Discard membrane.
  • Season all sides of the ribs liberally with BBQ seasoning of your choice.
  • Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil.
  • Place wrapped rack of ribs (meaty side up) on a baking sheet.
  • Bake ribs in the preheated oven for 2-3 hours. Check ribs after 2 hours. Bake until ribs are fork tender and the bones easily pull away from the meat.
  • Remove foil and baste all sides of the ribs liberally with your favorite BBQ sauce.
  • Return ribs (meat side up) to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  • Turn oven temperature to "broil" and cook ribs until the BBQ sauce is bubbly and thickens.
  • Remove from the oven and allow ribs to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve with a large stack of napkins.
