Slow Cooker BBQ Beef Sandwiches

Everyone will enjoy these tender, succulent, slow cooked beef sandwiches smothered in a rich, smoky barbecue sauce. Oh so easy to make...oh so delicious to eat!

  • Slow cooker

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 lb beef chuck roast
  • 10.5 oz can condensed beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce
  • 12 slices Provolone cheese
  • 6 Hoagie rolls to serve
  • French fried onion strips

Instructions
 

  • Place chuck roast in your slow cooker.
  • Add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and beef broth to the slow cooker.
  • Add 1 cup of the BBQ sauce, reserve other cup of BBQ sauce for later.
  • Place lid on the slow cooker and heat on low for 7-8 hours or until beef shreds easily with a fork.
  • Shred beef and stir in second cup of BBQ sauce to the slow cooker. Continue to cook until heated through.
  • While beef cooks, slice hoagie rolls in half and place a slice of cheese onto each of the cut sides. Place in the oven and "broil" until cheese melts.
  • Place a generous amount of shredded beef onto each toasted hoagie roll.
  • Top each sandwich with French fried onions and serve.
