Slow Cooker Kalua Pork

Only four ingredients are needed to make this flavor packed pulled pork that's perfect for sliders, or sandwiches.

- 3-4 lb bone in pork shoulder
- 2 cups apple juice
- 3 tbsp liquid smoke
- 2 tbsp pink Himalayan salt
To Serve:
- Kings Hawaiian rolls or Brioche buns
- sliced Provolone cheese, optional
- crispy fried onions
- barbecue sauce
Place pork shoulder in a slow cooker.
Sprinkle with pink Himalayan salt.
Pour in apple juice, and liquid smoke.
Place lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender and shreds easily.
Use two forks to shred the meat.
Cut buns in half and top with Provolone cheese if desired. Toast in the oven until the cheese is melted, 3-4 minutes.
Place a heap of shredded pork on the bottom half of buns, a squeeze of barbecue sauce, and some crispy fried onion strips. Place top half of bun on top.
Serve with a stack of napkins and a side of coleslaw to round out the meal.
