Easy To Make, Reindeer Kisses; A Fun, Festive Holiday Libation

When I came across this adorable idea on Instagram at viraldrinkvideos I knew I was going to be making them for the holidays! With only 4 ingredients it’s one of the easiest cocktails you can make and its super cute; perfect for serving at all your holiday gatherings. When you see how easy they are to make you are going to want to serve them this holiday season. There’s still plenty of time to make a quick trip to the market to pick up what you need to make these. It kinda looks like a liquid stocking with its cute candy cane rim, doesn’t it? An adult version of a stocking that is…LOL!

How stinking cute are these?

Place crushed candy cane pieces in a shallow plate. During the holidays you can find crushed candy cane pieces at the market; check the bulk item bins. If you can’t find them just purchase some regular candy canes or peppermint candies. You can easily crush them to make bits; just place candies in a plastic baggie and smash them with a rolling pin.

Dip the rim of each glass in the vanilla frosting to coat the entire rim of each glass. Dip the frosting coated rim into the crushed candy cane bits. The frosting is sticky so the candy cane bits stick to it nicely creating this fun holiday inspired rim.

These look so festive served up in tall shot glasses but you could certainly serve them in regular shot glasses if that’s all you have on hand.

Taste testing day. Thanks for volunteering Iesha!

Fill each glass with 1 oz Rum Chata and 1 oz Fireball liquor.

Adjust the amounts of Fireball and Rum Chata to suit your taste. These are creamy and delicious. We prefer a stronger cinnamon flavor so I go it little heavier with the Fireball and float a little Rum Chata on top.

Stir gently if desired and serve.

These are quite sweet; they’re perfect served as a dessert cocktail, but they are yummy enough to serve all evening long. Guests will “ohh” and “ahh” when you bring a tray of these to the table. They are so very fun and festive!

Please remember to always drink responsibly. There are appropriate times to indulge in an adult beverage. If you or a loved one is suffering from alcohol addiction please seek help. Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon are wonderful, no cost resources if you need help with addiction.
