What Do You Get When You Combine Pizza & Cookies…Pizzookie!

What do you get when you use chocolate chip cookie dough for a “pizza” crust? Bake it till it’s soft and tender in the center with slightly crispy, chewy edges? Top it with a scoop of ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce while it’s still warm from the oven? You get one of the easiest to make, delicious desserts EVER!

Don’t you just want to dive right in there? Be sure to get a big bite with some melty ice cream!

You could make your own chocolate chip cookie dough for this dessert if you wish. Using refrigerated cookie dough makes it so very quick and easy to make this dessert anytime the mood strikes you. And once you taste this little bit of heaven, trust me, you will be making these Pizzookies a lot!!!

Stop reading right now and go dig through your cupboards and find those ramekins that are pushed way in the back behind the bowls and salad plates. Dust those babies off because now you finally have a good use for them!

TIP: If you don’t have any ramekins you can easily find them at any thrift store for just a few pennies a piece.

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F.

While the oven heats up, coat each ramekin with nonstick spray or butter.

Press about ½ cup of cookie dough into each prepared ramekin. Use the back of a spoon to press the dough into an even layer out to the edges of each ramekin.

The big one is going to be mine!!!

Bake for 20-35 minutes. The amount of time it will take to bake the cookie dough will depend on the size of the ramekins you are using and how thick the dough is. Start checking for doneness with a toothpick in the center after about 20 minutes. Cookies are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

It took 35 minutes to get these baked up just right.

Top each warm cookie with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Serve immediately.

YUM!

Each spoonful of soft, warm cookie, with the cold, melty ice cream and rich chocolate sauce is a little bit of heaven in every delectable bite!

I can GUARANTEE that this dessert will become a family favorite. The best part is how super easy it is to make. Pop them in the oven to bake while you are eating dinner. Once dinner is finished all that’s left to do is to pull them out of the oven and top them with a big scoop of ice cream and generous drizzle of chocolate sauce.
