Simply Recipes by Elise Bauer. Elise has been blogging for several years and created a blog with hundreds and hundreds of recipes. Every recipe I have tried from her website has been delishious! One of my favorites is her mother’s recipe for Cheese Enchiladas. It’s a recipe that her mother made for her growing up and it has become one of our favorite meals as well.
I’ve been following Elise’s blog for years. In the beginning many of her recipes are inspired by her mother’s hispanic influence and her father’s German influence. Over the years her blog has grown to include contributions from guest cooks and the pictures of the recipes on her site will make you drool!
Plain Chicken by Stephanie. Stephanie has been blogging since 2007 as a way to keep track of all her recipes, and decided to quit her full time job in 2012 to blog full time. Her blog is a reflection of what goes on everyday in her kitchen. She cooks a lot like I do, not really fancy food, but it all tastes good! I have tried many of her recipes and one of our all time favorites is her recipe for Crack Potatoes. I have received marriage proposals because of this recipe! LOL!
The Pioneer Woman by Ree Drummond. Ree is a cooking icon. She has a beautiful website with tons of recipes and inspiration, she has published several cookbooks and has a successful cooking show on the Food Network. Her down home cooking style and tasty recipes make her site a must visit.
One of my favorite recipes from her site is for Potato Skins. Her easy to follow technique with step by step instructions produces potato skins that are crisp, tender and delishious! She walks you through each recipe with easy to follow step by step instructions and gorgeous pictures so even if you are a beginner you will have good results.
