3 Ingredient Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Tender, fall off the bone ribs are easy to make in your slow cooker.

Equipment

  • Large slow cooker

Ingredients
  

  • 1 rack baby back pork ribs
  • 2 tbsp barbecue spice seasoning
  • cups barbecue sauce

Instructions
 

  • Use a sharp knife to remove membrane from the back side of the ribs.
  • Season ribs liberally with barbecue spice seasoning. Use hands to work the seasoning into the meat.
  • Place ribs in the slow cooker, meat side facing outward along the side of the slow cooker.
  • Pour 1 cup of barbecue sauce over top of ribs. Use hands to coat ribs with barbecue sauce.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  • Ribs are done when meat is tender and easily comes off the bones.
  • Preheat oven to 450°.
  • Carefully transfer ribs onto a cookie sheet, meat side up.
  • Baste ribs with remaining ½ cup of barbecue sauce.
  • Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes to brown sauce and ribs.
  • Remove from oven and cut rack into individual ribs to serve.
