Air Fried Buffalo Chicken Wings

It's so very easy to make wings at home that are just a good as the ones you order at your favorite restaurant.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • large ziplock baggie

Ingredients
  

For the wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

For the Sauce:

  • 1 stick butter
  • cup Frank's Red Hot Sauce
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • ¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

To serve:

  • Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing
  • celery sticks, optional
  • carrot sticks, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat air fryer to 410℉.
  • Dry the wings thoroughly with paper towels, then place them in a large ziplock bag.
  • Add the baking powder, salt and pepper to the bag. Seal bag and toss to combine. 
  • Place wings in an air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space in between the wings.
  • Cook for 30-35 minutes, turning the wings over every 10 minutes.
  • While wings are cooking, place butter In a saucepan and melt over medium heat.
  • Add hot sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder to the saucepan.
  • Stir to combine all the ingredients and heat to a simmer. Remove from heat.
  • Once wings are cooked through, place them in a large bowl and toss wings with the Buffalo sauce to coat them.
  • Serve wings hot with Ranch or Blue cheese dressing on the side and celery sticks or carrot sticks if desired.

Notes

Note - it's important to dry the wings so they get nice and crispy as they cook.
