Buttermilk Waffles

- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 stick butter, melted
In a large bowl combine all the dry ingredients.
In another bowl combine wet ingredients.
Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; it's ok if there are a few lumps in the batter. Batter will be very thick.
Preheat waffle iron. Spray with non stick cooking spray.
Place about ⅓ to ½ cup batter in the preheated waffle iron.
Cook waffles until cooked through and golden brown; about 3-4 minutes.
Serve with butter and pure maple syrup, or top with fresh strawberries or raspberries.
