Caprese Salad

Fresh, simple ingredients come together in this simple to make salad that captures the best flavors of summer in your bowl.

- 16 oz cherry tomatoes, cut in half
- 4 oz fresh Mozzarella cheese balls
- 1 tbsp basil leaves, chiffonade
- 2-3 tbsp good quality extra virgin olive oil
- 2-3 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
- freshly cracked pepper
- salt, to taste
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, optional
Wash, cut tomatoes in half, and place them in a mixing bowl.
Add Mozzarella balls.
Chiffonade basil and add to the mixing bowl.
Add Balsamic vinegar to the bowl.
Drizzle with olive oil.
Add freshly cracked pepper and salt to taste.
Toss to combine.
Serve immediately.
Top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
