Cheesy, Garlic, Oven Roasted Asparagus

Roasting asparagus in the oven, intensifies it's flavor and makes this side a snap to prepare

- 1 lb fresh asparagus spears
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- ½ lemon, juiced
- salt & freshly cracked pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Line a cookie sheet with foil and set aside.
Wash and trim off tough ends from each asparagus spear.
Spread asparagus spears out on foil lined cookie sheet in an even layer.
Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, toss to coat.
Season with minced garlic, salt and pepper.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until asparagus is tender but not overcooked.
Remove pan from the oven and sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese evenly over the asparagus spears.
Return pan to the oven and broil until cheese is completely melted and cheese is lightly golden brown and bubbly.
Serve with extra lemon wedges. Enjoy!!!
