Easy Cheesy, Oven Roasted Garlic Asparagus

You don’t need list of ingredients as long as your arm to cook up a tasty side dish like these oven roasted asparagus spears. Just six ingredients and a little salt and pepper is all you need to cook up this absolutely delectable side dish.

Start by preheating oven to 425°F, and lining a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Set aside.

Wash and trim off tough ends from each asparagus spear.

Spring is here. Fresh tender stalks of asparagus.

Spread asparagus spears out on a foil lined cookie sheet in an even layer.

Drizzle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Toss to coat.

Season with minced garlic, salt and pepper.

Spread asparagus spears out in a single layer. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until asparagus is tender but not overcooked.

Remove pan from the oven and sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese evenly over the asparagus spears.

Return pan to the oven and set temperature to broil. Toast until cheese is completely melted or cheese is lightly golden brown and bubbly.

Serve with extra lemon wedges. Enjoy!!!

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • salt & freshly cracked pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
