Chili Cheese Dog Frito Pie Casserole

All the flavors of a chili cheese dog in an easy to make casserole that the whole family will enjoy.

- 2 cans chili
- 1 bag Fritos corn chips
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 pkg beef hot dogs, sliced into ½ inch thick rounds
- ½ cup diced onion
- 1 can sliced black olives, drained
- sliced pickled jalapeño peppers, optional
- ½ cup sour cream
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Spread out half the Fritos corn chips in the bottom of a 13X9 inch casserole dish in an even layer and top with sliced hot dogs. Set aside.
In a saucepan heat the two cans of chili.
Spoon chili evenly over the layer of corn chips and hot dogs in the casserole dish.
Top chili with another layer of corn ships
Top corn chips with the remaining cheese.
Add siced black olives and sliced jalapeno peppers.
Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes or until casserole is hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted and starting to turn golden brown along the edges.
Serve topped with a generous dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of diced onions.
