Say goodbye to dry as sawdust cornbread! Just a few ingredients transform a ho-hum box mix into a moist, delectable, crave worthy confection.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 8.5 oz box Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Grease a 9-inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Mix all ingredients together in a medium size mixing bowl until well combined.
  • Pour batter into the greased loaf pan.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes away clean.
  • Cut into squares and serve with softened butter.

Notes

This recipe can easily be doubled.
