Crispy Oven Baked Chicken Wings

Ingredients
  

  • 12-15 chicken wings, thawed
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp hot sauce
  • Ranch dressing
  • celery, optional
  • carrots, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250°F.
  • Line a cookie sheet with foil and place a baking rack on top.
  • Using a paper towel, dry off wings. Set aside.
  • In a large ziplock bag, combine baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder and salt.
  • Add chicken wings and toss to coat.
  • Place coated chicken wings on baking rack.
  • Bake wings at 250° for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and flip wings over.
  • Increase oven temperature to 425°F and return wings to the oven.
  • Bake wings for another 50-60 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Melt butter and stir together with hot sauce.
  • Place baked chicken wings into a large bowl. Pour hot sauce mixture over wings and toss to coat them evenly with the sauce.
  • Serve wings immediately with either Ranch or blue cheese dressing.
