Tzatziki Sauce

Serve this cool and creamy cucumber sauce with all your favorite Mediterranean foods or as a refreshing dip with fresh veggies or pita chips. It's light and refreshingly delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium cucumber, about 1 cup grated
  • 2 tbsp dill
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • salt & pepper

Instructions
 

  • Peel and grate cucumber using a box grater.
  • Place grated cucumber in a strainer and season with salt. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes.
  • Squeeze out excess moisture and place grated cucumber in a bowl.
  • Add dill, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper and Greek yogurt to the bowl with the cucumber.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Serve with your favorite Mediterranean foods or as a refreshing, cool and creamy dip.
