Walnut Fig Baked Brie

- 8 oz wheel of Brie cheese
- 4 tbsp Fig butter
- ½ cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 1 baguette French bread, sliced
- assorted crackers
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Using a sharp knife, slice off the top of the rind of a wheel of Brie cheese. Placing the wheel of cheese in the freezer for 20 minutes prior to slicing it, makes it easier to remove the rind.
Place the wheel of cheese in an oven safe casserole dish.
Top the cheese with a layer of fig butter.
Sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
Cover dish and bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted, hot and bubbly.
Serve with slices of bread or your favorite crackers.
