Coating it in crispy Panko breadcrumbs and baking it till it’s golden crispy brown on the outside and hot and creamy on the inside is a recipe that’s pretty darn close to perfection. Yes it’s that good! And oh so easy to make too!
Preheat oven to 350℉.
Set up a breading station; flour in the first bowl, beaten egg in the second bowl, and breadcrumbs in the third bowl.
Remove foil wrapper and dredge cheese round in the flour to coat it, shaking off excess flour.
Dip cheese round in the beaten egg mixture to coat it completely.
Roll cheese round in the breadcrumbs to coat it completely, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the surface of the cheese round.
Place breaded cheese round in an oven safe ramekin.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cheese is heated through and the breadcrumbs are a rich golden brown.
Drizzle with honey, if desired.
Serve hot with slices of sour dough baguette and your favorite crackers.

- ¼ cup flour
