Sometimes the easiest, simple recipes become family favorites that you end up serving over and over again. This is one of those recipes. To be honest I can’t even remember where I came across it all those years ago, but after making it the first time, this dip makes an appearance on a regular basis.
Jump to RecipeCheesy, meaty and creamy, piping hot when it comes out of the oven; with a layer of melty cheese on top, and a little zip from a sprinkling of pickled Jalapeños makes this dip utterly irresistible and impossible to resist. After one taste you will be hard pressed to stop eating it. It’s delicious anytime, but it’s always a game day fan favorite!
Preheat oven to 350℉.
While the oven is heating up, spread the softened cream cheese out in an even layer in the bottom of an oven safe casserole dish.
Top with a can of chili, spreading it our over the layer of cream cheese. I used a chili with no beans but you could certainly use a chili with beans and it would be just as delicious.
Top with a nice thick layer of shredded cheddar cheese.
Top with chopped pickled Jalapeño peppers for a little kick.
Bake at 350℉ for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and hot and bubbly.
Serve hot with a side of corn chips or tortilla chips for scooping up the dip.
How can something so easy to make, using just 4 simple ingredients, produce such a tasty appetizer? I never have any leftovers when I serve this hot baked dip. It’s delicious, scoop after scoop, after scoop, after scoop. Once you try it you won’t be able to stop eating it. You won’t have any leftovers. I recommend wearing stretchy pants when you serve this. You can thank me later for that helpful tip, LOL.
