Start by preheating oven to 425 degrees F.

Cut French bread loaf in half horizontally.

If you want your pizza to be less bready. It’s easy to adjust the bread to topping ratio. Just use a spoon or your fingers to scoop out some of the bread in the center of each loaf forming a boat shape with each half.

Spread pizza sauce onto bread in an even layer. If you like it saucy, add more, it you don’t like it quite as saucy, add less.

For a garlicy alternative use a garlic butter instead of a pizza sauce for a different flavor profile. Try this Best Ever Garlic Butter for an utterly delicious alternative to the more traditional red marinara pizza sauce. This truly is the best garlic butter you will ever eat! It’s a delicious base for pepperoni bread!!!

Ok, back to our pizza bread…top it with a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.

Top with pepperoni slices.

Add all your favorite toppings. If you decide to add mushrooms be sure cook them first until they release all their moisture to prevent this pizza bread from getting soggy.

Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is hot and bubbly, and bread browns along the edges.

Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.

Round out the meal with this Rich & Creamy Caesar Salad With Crisp, Garlicky Toasted Croutons. Guaranteed, this will be the best Caesar salad you will ever enjoy!

This French bread pizza is so ridiculously easy to make I don’t think it actually qualifies as a recipe…LOL. Well, making sure you bake it up right so you get that nice crunchy crust on the outside, with the soft steamy, bready insides is the most important part. To get the best results you want to bake it at a high temp and keep an eye on it as it cooks. Then all that’s left to do is to sit back and enjoy a tasty pizza meal that required minimal time and effort to get onto the table. Enjoy!
