Every so often I get invited to a get together and I’m asked to bring an appetizer to share. Some of my favorite appetizers need time in the oven. When I’m not sure if the hostess will have space in her oven to bake up an appetizer I love to bring these tasty little morsels to share. They are oh so easy to pop in your mouth. Everyone loves them and I never have any leftovers to bring home.
They are extremely easy to make, and you only need 3 simple ingredients to make them. That makes them perfect for last minute get togethers when you are pressed for time. Just roll them up and place them on a pretty platter and you are good to go!!!
These Salami Roll-Ups also make the perfect addition to a Charcuterie board.
Start by spreading 2 teaspoons cream cheese onto each slice of salami.
If you like things on the spicy side, top the cream cheese with a slice of Pepperoncini pepper or sliced Jalapeño pepper before rolling up the salami.
Roll up the salami slices around the cream cheese, forming a burrito.
Pierce an olive with a toothpick and then pierce the toothpick through the salami roll to secure.
Continue until all the salami, cream cheese and olives have been used up.
Place salami roll-ups on a platter and refrigerate until ready to serve.
These little beauties look fancy but they are quick and oh so easy to make. I never have any leftovers to bring back home when I bring these little beauties too share. Isn’t it amazing that something so simple can taste so dang good!!! As if that wasn’t enough, they are a low carb appetizer that literally everyone can enjoy.
ENJOY!
