Cooking 101: Easy To Make Creamy, Rich, Blue Cheese Dressing

Have you looked at the ingredients in most salad dressings? They are loaded with unhealthy, unpronounceable chemicals, tons of sugar or high fructose corn syrup, and they cost a grip of cash for a small bottle. Making your own salad dressing is one of the easiest things to make and every home cook should have this recipe in their arsenal. It only takes a few short minutes to whip up this tasty salad dressing.

Rich and creamy! Packed with flavorful blue cheese.

When you make it yourself you know that you are using wholesome, good for you ingredients. I never add guar gum or preservatives to my salad dressings, do you? I think I’ll pass!!! When you see how easy it is to make this dreamy, creamy, rich Blue Cheese salad dressing you will be skipping the salad dressing isle at the market from here on out!

In a small bowl combine sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped dill, Worcestershire sauce and crumbled blue cheese.

Add one tablespoon of milk at a time to thin dressing to desired consistency. Cover and chill until ready to serve.

Add more blue cheese if you love the flavor.

That’s it!!! See I told you it was easy to make!

This creamy Blue Cheese Dressing is by far my all time favorite salad dressing. Nothing you can purchase on the grocery store shelves comes even remotely close to tasting anywhere near as good as this dressing! Plus it’s much healthier for you than any of those chemical laden dressings in a bottle! Be sure to give this dressing a try.

My personal favorite? It’s absolutely fabulous on an ice cold, crispy wedge of iceberg lettuce, topped with some crumbled bacon and diced tomatoes…oh my goodness! You won’t be disappointed…I promise!
