Make time to enjoy a sunset.
I get it, our days are busy. There are only so many hours in a day and we have so much to do and get accomplished. Our to-do lists are long, and the number of hours to get it all done, short. Making the time to slow down and do something for ourselves seems like an almost impossible idea.
But that is exactly what I am asking you to do today. Find a spot to sit and watch a sunset this weekend.
When we go camping on the coast, one of our favorite activities is picking out a good spot on the beach to watch the sunset. God puts on the most magnificent show everyday, but we get so busy we often miss out.
My challenge to you today is to stop and take the time to soak up and appreciate the beauty that is right in front of you but we are often too busy to even notice.
Elevate the everyday today by taking the time to slow down for a bit and enjoy a quiet sunset.
