Fresh, Flavorful, Easy To Make Pico de Gallo

A staple in Mexican cuisine! Combining fresh produce results in an easy to make flavor packed condiment. No Mexican meal is complete without a side of Pico de Gallo to top off your favorites.

Gather together the fresh ingredients. If you can chop veggies, you can easily make this fresh Pico!

Remove seeds from Jalapeño pepper for less spiciness.

For a less watery pico, remove seeds and pulp from tomatoes before chopping them.

Chop all ingredients, place in a bowl and stir to combine.

Add lime juice and salt to taste.

Enjoy with all your favorite Mexican foods!

Pico De Gallo

Ingredients
  

  • 1 small red onion, diced
  • 3-4 plum tomatoes, diced
  • 1 Jalapeño pepper, minced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • ½ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in a bowl.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Taste and adjust amount of salt.
  • Serve with tortilla chips and with all your favorite Mexican dishes.

Notes

TIP:  If desired, remove pulp from tomatoes before chopping them for a less runny pico.
