How To Make Herbed Salami Roll-ups:

Make the cream cheese filling:

Place softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, dried dill, chives, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.

Whisk all the ingredients together until combined and mixture is smooth and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes. Set aside.

When I don’t have fresh dill on hand, I use this Lighthouse Freeze Dried Dill in place of the fresh dill. It tastes just like fresh dill in your recipes, you need less than when using fresh and it will keep for ages, so no last minute trip to the store to pick up fresh dill required.

Assemble roll-ups:

Using a sharp knife cut off about an inch of the tortilla on two sides so you have two straight edges.

Spread a thin layer of the herbed cream cheese mixture onto the tortilla.

Cut the tortilla in half, and then in half again so you end up with four equal sized strips.

Place 4 salami slices along one edge of the tortilla strip, overlapping each slice of salami.

Roll the tortilla with the salami slices into a tight roll.

The salami slices will form a pretty rosette on top of each roll.

Place a small piece of lettuce onto the side of the roll.

Pierce a tomato half with a toothpick. Use the toothpick with the tomato half to secure the roll.

Continue making roll-ups until you have used up all the herbed cream cheese, tortillas, tomato halves and sliced salami.

Cover rolls loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours to allow the flavors of the cream cheese to develop and firm up.

To serve, stand each roll upright on a platter. Serve chilled.

These easy to make appetizer bites look so impressive on a platter. Once you get on a roll (no pun intended, LOL) you can whip them up in no time. Everyone will think you spent hours making them but they come together quite quickly. All your guests will be so impressed when you serve up these tasty little morsels. Not only are they oh so pretty to look at, but the flavor packed fresh herbed cream cheese, combined with the savory, salty slices of salami make these beautiful little bites absolutely delicious! Serve this up at your next party and watch them disappear fast!
