Can I ask a serious question? Has anyone ever figured out why sometimes it’s super easy to peel an egg and at other times it’s such a challenge that you end up with the ugliest pitted, pockmarked eggs ever! How can you show up to a party with a platter of deviled eggs with the whites all covered in pot holes? It’s embarrassing! Well, until someone can finally figure out how to peel perfect hard boiled eggs, every single time, we can just make this delightful dip instead. Even if you end up with a batch of the most stubborn to peel eggs, it won’t matter a lick, because no one will ever know! This dip has all the flavors you love in a deviled egg but in a dip form. No more piping the filling into the egg whites. No more transporting a platter of eggs worried they are going to slide off the platter before you arrive. Just a lovely dip that you can scoop up with your favorite potato chips or crackers…hallelujah!
Jump to RecipePlace eggs, cream cheese, Mayo, yellow mustard, hot sauce, pickle juice, salt and pepper in the bowl of a food processor.
Process until creamy and smooth. Scrape down the sides of the food processor bowl if needed. Taste and season with additional salt.
Transfer the dip to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
To serve, spoon the dip to a bowl and garnish with a sprinkle of sweet Paprika.
Serve with potato chips, corn chips and Ritz crackers as dippers. Or serve with carrot and celery sticks for a healthier alternative.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this dip! It takes just minutes to make it and it literally tastes just like a deviled egg. If you love deviled eggs you are going to love this dip. My favorite dippers for scooping up this delectable dip are potato chips or Ritz crackers. Family and friends enjoy it with corn chips and veggie sticks. Serve this easy to make dip at your next get together and watch it disappear! It would be a fantastic appetizer to serve up for the Super Bowl game. Wash it down with an ice cold beer…YUM! Give this dip a try. You can thank me for the recipe later.
