Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium heat until crisp.

Remove from skillet and drain bacon on a paper towel line plate.

Cook up extra so you can sneak a few pieces as you’re cooking this meal.

Add onion to the bacon grease in the same skillet and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.

Add the ground beef. Cook and stir, breaking it up with a wooden spoon into small crumbles until the beef is no longer pink, about 5 minutes.

Add minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until garlic is fragrant, about 30 seconds. Drain off any excess grease in the pan.

Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and 1/2 of the crumbled bacon.

If you like it spicy add 2 teaspoons of hot sauce; use less for a milder sauce.

Break spaghetti noodles in half. Scatter them over the ground beef, making sure the noodles are separated and not clumped together.

Pour the tomatoes with green chiles, the diced tomatoes, and the tomato sauce over the noodles.

Stir to coat the noodles with the sauce in the pan.

Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring mixture occasionally.

Remove the lid and stir to combine everything together.  Simmer uncovered until most of the liquid in the pan has cooked off; about 5 minutes.

Smooth out the mixture and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top and then top with the remaining bacon bits.

Cover the pan and turn off the heat.

Let rest, covered, to allow the cheese to melt for about 5-10 minutes.

Once cheese has completely melted, garnish with sliced green onions to serve.

This dish is delicious served with a side of garlic bread to round out the meal. This Best Ever Three Cheese Garlic Bread pairs beautifully with this unique skillet spaghetti dish.
