How To Make The Copycat Sizzler Parmesan Cheese Toast

Going out to dinner at Sizzler was a rare treat when I was growing up. I haven’t eaten dinner at Sizzler in years, but one of my favorite parts of a Sizzler dinner was always the Parmesan cheese toast that came with the meal. The waiter would bring it to the table on a white plate, but only one piece per person. Man oh man was that bread good! It was soft on the bottom and the top was crunchy and cheesy and just so darn stinking good! I always wished I could get a second slice.

The best part of making this Parmesan toast at home? It’s ridiculously easy to make. It uses only three ingredients. It takes only a few minutes to cook up; and the best part of all? You can have was many pieces as you want!

This bread is the perfect solution when you didn’t plan ahead or have the time to bake up a fresh loaf of bread. Don’t have any refrigerated biscuits on hand either? No worries! This toast takes only a few quick minutes to make so there’s no excuse why you can’t serve up his tasty bread with dinner any night of the week.

In a small mixing bowl, stir together butter and Parmesan cheese until you have a thick paste.

Spread 1 tablespoon of the Parmesan paste onto each slice of bread.

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place slices of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet. Do not move toast for the first minute. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.

Remove from skillet and serve warm.

I’m always amazed when just a few simple ingredients come together to make something utterly delicious. This Parmesan toast is just like I remember the toast at Sizzler. It’s soooo stinking’ good! It’s great for mopping up marinara sauce, dipping into a bowl of beef stew, or alongside a steaming hot bowl of your favorite soup. It’s delicious with any meal!

Serve this Parmesan toast with my all time favorite soup, The Best, Creamiest, Hungarian Mushroom Soup. If you love mushrooms you will adore this delectable soup. It’s one of the very best soups you will ever enjoy. Rich and creamy and utterly slurp-able! Perfect for dipping your toasted bread in!

This is my all time favorite soup!
