How To Make An Utterly Delectable, Thai Chicken Salad

To make this salad start by adding all the salad dressing ingredients to a small bowl and whisking them together to combine. Set aside.

Ingredients
  

For the dressing:

  • 5 tbsp peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tsp hot sauce
  • ½ tsp koser salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

For the salad:

  • 1 small head green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 2 medium carrot, peeled and shredded
  • 1 small bunch green onions, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • ½ cup peanuts, chopped
  • ½ cup cilantro, roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, roughly chopped

Instructions
 

  • Add all the salad dressing ingredients to a small bowl and whisk to combine. Set aside.
  • Place sliced cabbage, chopped red bell pepper, shredded carrots, cilantro, basil, sliced green onions, chopped peanuts and shredded chicken in a large bowl.
  • Add salad dressing to the bowl.
  • Toss to combine all the salad ingredients with the dressing.
  • Serve immediately.
