Sausage balls have been a favorite party appetizer for years. They’re easy to make and everyone loves them when they’re piping hot, right out of the oven. This spicy five ingredient version is perfect for all of you that like things on the spicier side. The hot sausage and diced Jalapeño peppers give them a lovely kick of heat. The addition of cream cheese gives them a lovely creaminess, tames the heat a little so it’s not too overpowering, and it keeps them nice and tender. There’s a reason sausage balls are such a popular hot appetizer, they’re easy to make, and packed with flavor. It’s no wonder they are always one of the first things devoured when served at a party.

Oh my goodness, but these are so stinking good! If you like things on the spicy side you are going to absolutely LOVE these tender little morsels of goodness! They can be made ahead of time; just pop the entire baking sheet in the fridge until you are ready to bake them up for your guests. You may need to add a few minutes to the cook time if they are cold out of the fridge. They smell amazing as they are baking and when you pull them out of the oven they will disappear right before your eyes! Be sure to add these to the menu for your next get together. They’re the perfect appetizer to serve up for Super Bowl Sunday!
