Acorns, acorns and more acorns! They are literally everywhere right now. It’s definitely autumn. Lets’ face it, keeping up with them is pretty much a lost cause this time of the year…sigh…
Instead of fighting them, use them as inspiration to make these adorably tasty little morsels. Make acorn cookies you can eat.
You only need four ingredients to make these cute little cookies. Chocolate kisses, mini vanilla wafer cookies, chocolate chips and a splash of milk.
Unwrap kisses and lay out wafer cookies.
Next it’s time to make the glue that is going to hold everything together. Combine about a tablespoon of chocolate chips with a splash of milk in a small dish.
Microwave at 10-15 second intervals, stirring milk and chocolate together until you have a smooth creamy sauce.
Dip each chocolate kiss into the melted chocolate sauce.
Press kiss onto the bottom of a vanilla wafer cookie.
Allow chocolate sauce to set and repeat with the chips. Dip chips in the chocolate sauce and press onto the other side of the vanilla wafer cookie.
How stinking cute are these?!?! Not only are they adorable, but they are delicious too!
These little cuties are definitely making an appearance on my Thanksgiving table this year! I bet you can’t eat just one!
