Meatball Sliders

I’ve lost count how many times I’ve served up these tasty little sliders for dinner over the years. Frozen Italian meatballs, prepared marinara sauce and a package of soft and fluffy King’s Hawaiian rolls make them a snap to toss together. It takes less than 30 minutes to whip up these tasty sliders and I never get any complaints when they make an appearance on the table for dinner.

How To Make Meatball Sliders:

Start by placing a package of frozen meatballs in a saucepan in a single layer. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs. Cover and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes until the meatballs are heated through, stirring occasionally.

While meatballs are cooking, cut rolls in half.

Top each roll with a slice of cheese.

Place the rolls in the oven and “broil” them until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and browned and the edges of the rolls are toasted.

Remove toasted rolls from the oven and place a spoonful of marinara sauce onto the bottom half of each roll.

Top with a meatball.

Spoon additional marinara sauce onto each meatball.

Add a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.

Top with the other half of the roll to serve.

Oh my goodness, but these little guys are so tasty! I love to use my home made Marinara Sauce when I make these sliders but you can use any jarred sauce you have in your pantry.

Everyone in my house loves, loves, loves anything served up on a King’s Hawaiian roll. Pick up a package on your way home from work and if you keep a package of frozen meatballs in the freezer, some cheese in the fridge and marinara sauce in the pantry, you can have dinner on the table in under 30 minutes!

Add a Crisp Green Caesar Salad to round out the meal. This is one of the tastiest salads you will ever enjoy!

ENJOY!
