This is an utterly delectable sandwich that your whole family will LOVE! It comes together in just about 30 minutes which makes it perfect for busy weeknight meals. Pair it with a crisp green salad and some air fried tater tots to round out the meal.

Air frying tater tots takes just a few quick minutes and produces nice crisp tots that pair perfectly with these sandwiches. Kiss soggy, mushy, limp Tater Tots goodbye. Learn How To Cook The Crispiest Air Fryer Tater Tots. Air frying them produces crispy on the outside, steamy soft on the inside, delectably delicious tots.

Great with burgers too!

Alright, let’s get these sandwiches going so we can gobble them up!

In a small bowl combine 1 cup very hot water and 1 teaspoon beef bouillon. Stir until bouillon has dissolved. Set aside.

Gather together all the ingredients.

Roughly chop a yellow onion and a green bell pepper.

In a large skillet, over medium heat, brown ground beef, breaking it up as it starts to cook.

Add the diced onion, and green bell pepper.

Cook until beef is cooked through and the onions and peppers are soft.

Drain off any excess fat from the pan.

Season beef with salt and steak seasoning.

Sprinkle cornstarch over the beef/onion/pepper mixture in the pan. Stir until beef is coated with the cornstarch.

Add reserved beef broth and A-1 sauce to the skillet.

Stir together, increase heat, and bring the mixture to a boil.

One mixture has come to a boil, reduce heat and allow the mixture to simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes or until mixture has thickened.

Mixture will thicken even more once it’s removed from heat.

While the meat simmers on the stove, cut rolls or buns in half and place them, cut side up on a baking pan. Lightly butter each cut side and place them buttered side up in the oven. Turn heat to broil and toast until lightly browned.

Remove them from the oven. Top toasted buns with sliced cheese. I used provolone, but you could use any cheese you prefer. Pepper Jack would give is a little zing and would be delicious! Any cheese that melts will work.

Return to the oven and broil until the cheese is melted and gooey.

Pile the meat filling onto each bun to serve.

Open wide! Snarf down that big ole sandwich of deliciousness!!! Meaty, cheesy and oh so flavorful. It’s a hearty sandwich that’s so very easy to make and oh so good in your tummy! You must give this delectable sandwich a try! I’m betting it will become a family favorite at your house just like it is at ours.
