Quick & Easy, Utterly Delicious, 3 Cheese Stuffed Breadsticks

If you are a regular visitor to Nature Way you already know that I am firmly in the “bread is the staff of life” camp. If the pandemic has taught me anything, it’s how to bake a really good loaf of homemade bread. Go ahead and check out Rolling In the Dough if you don’t believe me, I’ll wait…

WARNING…bread porn!

I have to confess, sometimes the day gets away from me and I haven’t allowed enough time to bake up a loaf of bread for dinner. Baking a beautiful loaf of bread isn’t difficult, you just have to allow enough time to make it. There’s no shame in using a convenience food like refrigerated pizza dough when you are short on time!

These breadsticks can be assembled, baked and hot on the table in under 30 minutes. That’s right, fresh baked cheesy bread in under 30 minutes, means you can serve it up anytime you get a craving.

Start by preheating oven to 400°F and coating the surface of a cookie sheet with non-stick spray.

TIP: Line the cookie sheet with foil. It makes cleanup a breeze!

Unroll pizza dough out onto prepared cookie sheet.

This recipe can easily be doubled! Just use two rolls of pizza dough and increase the amount of cheese to your cheesiness liking.

Baste half of the dough with half the melted butter.

Sprinkle buttered half of dough with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic powder and half of the grated Parmesan cheese.

Spread out Cheddar and Mozzerella cheese onto buttered/seasoned half of the dough.

Fold dough in half, forming a large envelope. Be sure to completely enclose the cheese between the layers of dough and pinch seams together with your fingers to seal.

Baste the dough envelope with the remaining butter and season with the remaining salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic powder.

Finish off with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and heated through.

Just look at that melty cheese gooshing out! YUM!

Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into 1 inch wide long strips to serve.

Boy oh boy, these are soooooo darn good! All melty, cheesy and gooey and yummy! Plus you are going to LOVE how quick and easy they are to make too! Bet you can’t eat just one!!!
