A Decadent, 2 Ingredient, Rich & Creamy, Caramel Apple Dip

What if I told you that you can make one of the most delectable dips ever using just two simple ingredients? Plus it comes together in just a few quick minutes. It’s the perfect dip for tart slices of apple and utterly delectable as a Churro dip. Yes you read that right…a Churro dip! A HUGE thank you to the friendly woman at the Mexican bakery the other day, standing in the extremely slow moving line, waiting to purchase some freshly baked churros. We struck up a conversation to pass the time and she shared this amazingly easy recipe with me for this delectable dip. I will forever be in her debt!!!

Move over and let me have some of that dip!

Don’t have freshly baked churros on hand? No problem! This dip is equally delicious scooped up with a Bunuelo! Fry up a few flour tortillas in butter, dust them with a little cinnamon and sugar and you have the perfect scooper-upper for this delectably creamy dip. A spoon would work too, just shovel it in…LOL!

Learn how easy it is to make Bunuelos; Cinnamon & Sugar Fried Tortillas. Yum-yum-yummy-yum-yum! They are oh so very, very good just plain but dunk them into this creamy dip and you will be saying good bye to any diet you are on! LOL! You’re going to hate me, and love me for sharing this recipe. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Easy to make and delicious to eat!

The most difficult part of this recipe is waiting for the cream cheese to get soft.

Soften, soften, soften…

Once the cream cheese comes to room temperature place it in a mixing bowl and add an entire jar of caramel sauce.

Use an electric mixer and beat the cream cheese and caramel sauce together until you have a smooth and creamy mixture.

Once the mixture is smooth and creamy it’s time to devour it!!! The caramel sauce adds a lovely touch of sweetness; the cream cheese keeps it from being to overly sweet. It’s PERFECTION!!! The perfect blend of sweet and creamy.

Our favorite dippers? Churros! Bunuelos and apple slices coming in at a very close second. We especially love this dip with Granny Smith apples. They are crisp and tart; the perfect contrast to the rich, sweet creaminess of the dip.

⚠️ WARNING ⛔️ don’t make this dip if you are on a diet! Once you start eating it, it’s hard to stop! I release myself of any and all liability, you’ve been warned!
