I have to thank my good friend Veronica for sharing this recipe with me. It’s my version of the Garlic Butter recipe shared by Denyse on allrecipes.com. After reading through the reviews online I made a couple of small changes to her original recipe to cut down on reviewer’s complaints that the butter was way too salty.
OK, can I tell you? This Garlic Butter is so stinking good! It takes only minutes to mix together and it produces the tastiest, garliciest deliciousness to ever grace a slice of bread!
I’ve tried numerous garlic butters over the years but none of them were so good that I saved the recipe to make it again, until I tried this one.
I used it to make garlic bread, served up with Spaghetti for a delicious weeknight meal.
My mind started reeling thinking about everything I could slather this onto; corn-on-the-cob, any kind of pasta imaginable, grilled chicken, fish, steaks, roasted veggies, popcorn, or potatoes. Brush it on biscuits, use it to fry up a couple eggs or sauté mushrooms with it? Brilliant! Use it to make garlic croutons! Add it to mashed potatoes. Mix a couple tablespoons into hot cooked rice to serve as a simple but flavor packed garlic-y side. Mind blown!
You are only limited by your imagination. Almost anything would taste phenomenal slathered with this garlic-y deliciousness. It’s that good!!!
Get out a mixing bowl and stir together all the ingredients until well combined. That’s it, that’s the whole recipe. I told you this was a ridiculously easy recipe; and you doubted me?
I used this garlic butter to make garlic toast. Spread garlic butter on sliced bread and baked in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes in the oven, switch oven setting to broil and toast until golden brown. Be sure to keep a close eye on them; they can go from toasted to burnt in the blink of an eye.
Sometimes the simplest recipes are the best and this one couldn’t be any simpler or taste better!

Let me know how else you use it besides on bread. I have some sitting in my fridge right now just waiting to be used up, but I have a feeling it’s not going to last very long.
Thanks Veronica for sharing this one with me! It’s definitely a keeper!
