Cheese Stuffed Biscuits

Lets face it somedays are busy and we don’t think about what to make for dinner until its almost time to eat. Making bread from scratch is out of the question on those nights unless you are willing to eat at 10 o’clock.

On nights when you haven’t planned well for dinner, you now have this yummy bread recipe that you can whip up in under 30 minutes. Bonus: it uses ingredients that you probably already have in the house.

Don’t they look delicious?

These rolls pair beautifully with one of my favorite pasta dishes, Tortellini & Italian Sausage in a Creamy Tomato Sauce. Or pair it with one of your favorites to round out your next meal. They are so quick and easy to make you can have them any night of the week.

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.

Separate biscuits into 8 individual pieces. I used Pillsbury Grands refrigerated biscuits.

Place a cube of cheese in the center of each biscuit. I used cheddar but you could use any of your favorites. Any cheese that melts well would work.

Wrap the dough around the cube of cheese, pinching dough together to seal in the cheese cube.

Place biscuits, seam side down in a cast iron pan.

Bake biscuits for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

While biscuits are baking, melt butter in a small bowl and combine with minced garlic, garlic powder and dried parsley.

When biscuits are done, remove from the oven and brush with garlic butter.

Serve immediately while biscuits are hot and cheese is gooey and melty inside.
