Learn How To Make These Tasty Oven Baked Beef Sliders

I love spring! All the trees are leafing out, the hillsides are green and lush, wild flowers are popping up everywhere and the days are getting longer and warmer. Good riddance to winter…finally! But spring can be so unpredictable. One day we are blessed with blue skies and temps in the mid-80’s, and the next day, it’s cold, windy, and raining. I tried so hard to wait with all the patio furniture cushions but the warm weather and sunny skies were a sirens song that I just couldn’t resist. After a lovely stretch of gorgeous weather, the last several days have been cold and rainy; all the cushions are back in the shed…sigh!

After a long, cold winter, when the weather finally warms up are you like me? Itching to fire up the grill to barbecue some juicy home cooked burgers? But what to do when the weather refuses to cooperate and that burger craving needs satisfying? These quick and easy to make oven baked sliders will surely tide you over until the weather improves. This oven baked method is the next best thing!

Just look at those tasty little morsels. Get in my mouth…NOW!!!

Start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees F.

Place ground beef in a large mixing bowl.

Add bread crumbs, diced onion, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

Mix well. I use my hands to do this, but you could also use your mixer if you prefer.

Once combined, press the beef mixture into a 13 X 9 inch pan so that it makes one large beef patty of even thickness all the way across.

Bake beef patty for 30 minutes. As it bakes, the meat will shrink away from the sides of the pan and the liquid fat will accumulate in the bottom and around the edges of the pan.

When the beef is fully cooked, remove the pan from the oven (keep oven turned on) and using two large spatulas, transfer the beef patty onto a cookie sheet.

Top the meat with a layer of sliced cheese. Cheddar, Colby Jack, and American cheese are all delicious options. Any cheese that melts well will work.

Return the beef patty to the oven for about 5 minutes and continue to cook until the cheese is completely melted, hot and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and allow beef to rest for a few minutes.

Cut the large beef patty into 12 squares, or to fit the size of the buns you are using.

We love Kings Hawaiian rolls, but you can use your favorite rolls.

Cut rolls in half and spread with either mustard and ketchup or your favorite burger sauce. Add a couple pickle slices if you like pickles.

These little buggers are oh so good! It takes just a few quick minutes to get them in the oven so you can have them on the table lickety quick! Serve them as a meal or as an appetizer when you’re entertaining. They would be perfect as a Super Bowl snack or served during the NBA basketball playoffs. Really, they would be perfect anytime! These are so very, very tasty!!!

Make these tasty bite sized sliders a meal and pair them with my favorite Creamy Coleslaw. This is one of the easiest sides to make and it’s utterly delectable!

My favorite easy to make side to serve with these tasty little sliders are these Crispiest Air Fryer Tater Tots. They cook up light and crispy in your air fryer; the perfect side to these burgers! Any burger actually!!!

No matter what you decide to pair these sliders with, you now have an easy, no fuss method for making tasty, juicy, flavorful bitesized cheeseburgers any time you want. Give them a try and let me know if your family loves them as much as we do! Go on, it’s time to take care of that cheeseburger craving!
