Easy To Make, 3 Ingredient, Home Made Pizza Rolls

I get pizza cravings more often than I care to admit. How about you? What is is about dough, paired with cheese and meat that gets our tastebuds going into overdrive? Sure the frozen pre-made pizza treats are super convenient but does it really take all those ingredients and preservatives to make them? Nope! Plus, don’t you just hate it when all the cheese gooshes out of them while you’re cooking them up? What if I told you, you can make them at home for a fraction of the cost? Without any of those unpronounceable preservatives in about the same amount of time it takes to bake up a batch of the pre-made frozen kind. And they taste so much better too! I recently cooked up some of the tastiest, absolutely Outstanding, Crispy Mushroom Wontons. If your a mushroom lover, you will love these!

Calling all mushroom lovers! These are so very tasty!

I ended up with leftover wonton wrappers that I needed to use up. Those wrappers are perfect for these crispy pizza treats! They cook up nice and crisp and keep the cheese inside where it belongs so you get all the melty cheese in every bite!

Place about an inch of vegetable oil in a saucepan and heat it up over medium high heat until hot; to about 350 degrees.

While oil heats up, cut each cheese stick into 3 equal sized pieces and set them aside.

Place a wonton wrapper on your work surface. Dip your finger in water and moisten the outside edge of the wonton wrapper with water. This helps to seal the ingredients inside and keep them where you want them.

Place a slice of pepperoni in the center of the wonton wrapper and top with a piece of cheese.

Roll the wonton wrapper around the pepperoni slice and the cheese forming a mini burrito.

Set aside on a platter and cover with a damp paper towel to prevent them from drying out while you finish with the remaining ingredients.

Once the oil is hot, fry pizza rolls in small batches until they are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

Use tongs to remove them from the oil and drain them on a paper towel lined platter.

Serve with a side of marinara sauce or Ranch dressing for dipping if desired, our personal favorite is Ranch dressing.

Warning!!! These little buggers are oh so very, very tasty! I’m betting you’ll easily be able to polish off a whole plate of them. Trust me, it’s really easy to do! You’ve been warned!
